Our core values profoundly influence the culture and character of our church and all that we do. These values significantly impact every dimension of our fellowship, sway the execution of ministry, affect daily operations decisions, and impact our members' relationships. Furthermore, they also influence our worship, the ministry of the Word, and our witness to the lost.

Bible  THE AUTHORITY OF SCRIPTURE

We value the authority of Scripture because the Bible is God's written revelation to man. Therefore, we aim to understand it, study it, cherish it, defend it, joyfully submit to it, and grow in our biblical literacy and theological knowledge because of it (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Titus 1:9; Hebrews 1:1-2; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Revelation 22:19).

Crown  THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST

We value the Lordship of Jesus Christ because He is the head of the Church and the Lord of all. Therefore, we aim to revolve our lives around Jesus Christ by giving Him the first place in everything. He is first in our church, first in our families, first in our jobs, first in our recreation, and first in our affections (Matthew 22:37-38; Colossians 1:18; Romans 12:1-2; Ephesians 5:22-6:4; Philippians 2:9-11; Revelation 1:9-3:22, 19:16).

Church  THE LOCAL CHURCH

We value the local church because Christ redeemed and purified a people for His own possession, it is the representation of the global body of Christ, and because we are directed to associate ourselves together in local assemblies. Therefore, we aim to gather faithfully to glorify God, lovingly serve one another, and celebrate the diversity of every tribe, tongue, and nation as we anticipate worshipping Christ together for all eternity (Matthew 28:18-20; I Corinthians 11:18-20; Ephesians 2:20-21; Titus 2:14; Revelation 5:9).

Cross  THE SALVATION OF THE LOST

We value the salvation of the lost because they are made in the image of God, are far from Him, and because God so loved the world that He gave His Son for those who believe in Him to have eternal life. Therefore, we aim to be zealous in our evangelism of those who need Jesus who are among us in our gatherings, our neighborhoods, our vocations, and around the world as we regularly invite them to church and seek to plant churches (John 3:16; 17:3; 20:31; Acts 1:8; Romans 3:21-25; I Corinthians 14:23-25; 1 Timothy 1:15).

fire  PERSONAL HOLINESS

We value personal holiness because God granted us undeserved grace and called us to Himself. Therefore, we aim to consecrate ourselves totally to Him and separate from false religions and sinful practices. We live lives of integrity, both in public and in private, for His glory and our good (Proverbs 2:7, 10:9, 11:3, 20:7, 28:6; Romans 6:4, 12:1-2; 1 Corinthians 5:9-13; 2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1; Colossians 1:10; I Thessalonians 4:3-7; I Timothy 1:5; Titus 2:11-12; 1 Peter 1:15-16; 2 Peter 1:5-9).

Helping Hands  THE EQUIPPING OF THE SAINTS

We value equipping the saints because that is how the body grows in unity, in maturity, and in love for Christ and one another. Therefore, we aim to help every believer develop their gift(s) for the building up of the body of Christ for the sake of doctrinal stability, the full knowledge of Christ, and accomplishing the ministries to which God has called them. We do this through intentional discipleship, leadership training, and weekly small group gatherings (Acts 5:42; Ephesians 4:8, 11-16; 2 Timothy 1:13, 2:2; Hebrews 10:24-25; I Peter 4:10).

Users  THE FAMILY

We value the family because it is the foundation of society and the means through which generational discipleship occurs. Therefore, we aim to instruct men how to love their wives as Christ loved the church, to lead their families, and to raise their children in the Lord. We also teach women how to embrace their roles as mother and wife joyfully to love their husbands and children. We desire to partner with parents to equip them to be the primary teachers of their children. We do this through investing in our children’s ministry and resourcing our parents to fulfill their God-given roles (Genesis 1:28; Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Psalm 127:3; Colossians 3:18-21; I Timothy 3:4; 2:Timothy 1:5; Titus 2:3-5; 1 Peter 3:1-7;  2 John 1-4).

bullhorn  EXPOSITORY PREACHING

Since the Bible is God's authoritative revelation to man, we are committed to exposing its meaning and heralding its message rather than our own (1 Timothy 4:13; 2 Timothy 4:1-2; Hebrews 4:12).

Users  BIBLICAL ELDERSHIP

Biblically, the focal point of all church leadership is the elder. An elder is one of a plurality of biblically qualified men who jointly shepherd and oversee a local body of believers. The word translated "elder" is used nearly twenty times in Acts and the epistles in reference to this unique group of leaders who have responsibility for overseeing the people of God. We believe that healthy churches are led by a plurality of men who are above reproach, spiritually gifted and possess a deep concern for the well-being of God's people (Acts 20:17, 28; 1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5; 1 Peter 5:1-2).

Church  CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

The Church is not a building or a place we go. Instead, the Bible uses metaphors that describe the Church as an intimate community of believers that are devoted to the Apostles' teaching, fellowship, communion and prayer. We want people to be added to the local church rather than simply attending our services (Ephesians 2:19; Ephesians 5:30; 1 Corinthians 12:12; Acts 2:42).

Helping Hands  CHURCH DISCIPLINE

Church discipline is a loving four-step process taken by members, church leaders, or the congregation to restore believers living in egregious and unrepentant sin. This often neglected Biblical practice is essential to a healthy church. It upholds the honor of God's name, protects the congregation from sin, preserves the church's reputation to the watching world, and rescues the believer caught in sin (Matthew 18:15-20; Acts 5:1-14; 1 Corinthians 5:1-13, 11:27-34; Galatians 2:11-14, 6:1; 2 Thessalonians. 3:6-15; 1 Timothy 1:20; 5:19-20; Titus 3:10-11; Hebrews 12:4-13; Revelation 2:5, 16, 22; 3:3).

Pray  DEVOTION TO PRAYER

Prayerlessness for the Christian is an oxymoron. J.C. Ryle wrote, “Not praying is a clear proof that a man is not yet a true Christian.”  Although the Bible gives us many reasons to pray, here are seven reasons why we are devoted to prayer: it is a great privilege, we depend upon the Lord, God is the supreme focus of our lives, we desire God’s will to be done, our physical lives are fragile, intimacy with God demands it, and we long to live holy lives (Matthew 6:5-13; Luke 18:1-8; Romans 8:15, 12:12; Ephesians 6:18; Philippians 4:6; Colossians 4:2-4; 1 Thessalonians 5:17-18).

 Walking  PERSISTENCE IN EVANGELISM

The proclamation of the gospel to the unsaved is not only what the church should be praying for, but it is what the church should be practicing. Evangelism is God's means of leading people to genuine saving faith, and it is a prerequisite to his precept for making disciples. Therefore, we hold this discipline in high regard and prioritize the persistent effort in evangelizing the lost until Jesus returns (Matthew 9:37-38; 28:18-20; Acts 1:8; Romans 10:11-15).
