Revolve Kids Check-In

As you & your child arrive at our check-in station, you will be greeted by a member of our children’s ministry team. At the check-in station, you will receive a name tag for your child and a corresponding security tag for yourself.  

*Please alert the check-in station volunteer of any information that will help our team care for your child, such as allergies or special needs.

Where To Go After Check-In

After you have completed the check-in process, please take your child to the Worship Center with you. After the Scripture reading, a Pastor or Deacon will dismiss the children to their classrooms. 

Dismiss Your Child & Enjoy Service

Upon dismissal, your child will be greeted outside of the worship center by our children’s ministry volunteers and escorted upstairs to their classroom. If it is too difficult for your little one to go without you, please feel free to escort your child to their classroom when they are dismissed. As you know, it is common for little ones to cry when a parent leaves. This, typically, does not last long. Separation will become easier over time. Our volunteers will immediately engage your child in a toy or activity and ensure your child that you will return soon. However, if your child cries for an extended period, we will text the number you provided at check-in, or if your child is in the nursery, we will buzz the pager you were given.

*A note to moms of little ones: Our nursery is staffed by female volunteers (who are background checked) to care for your baby if you would like (see nursery section below). We also have a Nursing Mom’s room upstairs for those moms with children who are too little for the nursery. If you would like to use our Nursing Mom’s room, our check-in team or one of the Ushers would be happy to show you where it is.

**Please bring as few items as necessary to service. One diaper is plenty, along with a bottle if feeding will be needed during service time. Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name before arriving.

Child Pick Up

When the time comes to pick up your child, please return to the appropriate room and present your security tag to the children’s ministry volunteer at the door.  The tag will be matched to your child’s name tag before they will be released into your care. A child will not be able to leave the room with a parent without the presentation of the security tag. In the event you lose your security tag, you will be asked to show proper ID before your child is returned to you. 

Nursery

The nursery at Revolve Bible Church is a safe and loving environment for children four months through three years old. Our nursery provides hands-on activities and snacks for the children. We ask that moms do not accompany their children to the nursery. However, if you are new to Revolve, we invite you to sit in for the first two weeks because we know leaving your child in a new environment can be difficult.

Preschool and Kindergarten

Our preschool and kindergarclass provides age-appropriate Bible lessons and learning activities that are both fun and Biblically rich. The children will learn about the character of God, the work of Christ, and the means of living in a right relationship with Him. This is accomplished through the Generations of Grace Sunday School curriculum, which includes activities and crafts that further illustrate the day’s lesson.

Elementary Classes

In our elementary classes (K-1st grade, 1st-3rd grade, 4th-6th grade), we strive to present the truths of Scripture in an age-appropriate manner. During their time with us, your children will hear a Bible lesson, participate in an activity that illustrates the day’s teaching, and question and answer time that provides a unique opportunity for our teachers to impact the lives of the children through interaction in a personal setting.

We use Generations of Grace curriculum. This curriculum is:

• Biblically Driven - covering the Old Testament historical books, the life of Christ, the birth and growth of the church, and lessons from the book of Revelation.
• God-Centered - magnifying God by studying His character in the pages of Scripture.
• Christ Exalting - glorifying Christ as the pinnacle of God’s redemptive plan.
• Gospel Saturated - pointing children to Christ as the only way of salvation.
• Family Focused - uniting the family around the same passage of Scripture each Sunday and throughout the week.
  

Did you know that we provide a family devotional book to you free of charge? The Bible tells us that parents are primarily responsible for teaching their children about the Lord (Deut. 4:9-10). The devotional we provide unites your child’s classroom to your home and enables you to teach your children during the week. Make sure to ask for your copy of the Generations of Grace Family Devotional at the check-in station.

"The Generations of Grace Family Devotional is a full year of family worship that follows the same passages and themes your children learn in Sunday school. With 365 daily devotions, (Genesis through 1 Samuel) families walk through Scripture together as part of the same three-year, whole-Bible journey used in the classroom. Each day’s reading includes selected portions of Scripture and infographics to help bring the Bible to life and make it easy for parents to lead meaningful time in the Word with children ages 3–12. The content is rich enough to benefit the whole family while remaining accessible for younger children."
